Destruction Of A Nobody was informed by my personal experiences whilst experiencing P.T.S.D. and a visual disability that occurred as a direct result of a violent attack committed by a man I barely knew because I rejected his advances. Women are often portrayed poorly in fiction surrounding victims of violence, and I wanted to change the narrative, punish the hubris of the protagonist to give the victims entertainment through a louder voice.
