S C Irving.

Sian Ingram Mysteries Presents

I created a persona after myself a victim of a violent crime, and named her Sian Ingram. She becomes an accidental hero formed from an anagram of my own name who is frequently asked to help repair the inequities created by unscrupulous men involving her clients generally female, who have been damaged in some way.
Although she seeks to work within the realms of the law, she can when called upon, be extremely inventive and resourceful especially when exasperated by an unrelenting foe. She will happily aid her misogynist prey into performing an act that plays to their destructive nature making them worthy of an extensive incarceration or an alternate outcome for their misdeeds. Seeing it coming is not part of the final analysis, unless of course she wants them to.

About me

I Turn Stories into an Experience.

The crimes, the outcomes and the players remain unchanged, but I bring an exigent drama to the narrative so that what fills the dash between the original act and the final conclusion leave the reader’s imagination in no doubt and offer the victims a more pleasing conclusion.

My Vision.

Is to redress the balance for women who frequently get short shrift where violence is concerned. I intend to create a more appropriate narrative with my titles based on real crimes. I don’t change the crime, the players or the outcome, but I do bring exigent drama to the narrative that fills that dash between the original act and the final conclusion.

My Mission.

To create a more appropriate narrative for the victims of crime and properly punish the worst of society to ensure their hubris makes them appear absurd in the eye of their female counterpart. Ultimately becoming the very opposite of their intention, that comedy of errors for their victims sheer entertainment, and ensuring their capture is inevitable.

My Goal.

To give those cheated by crime and the judicial system a reason to smile again, and see the folly of foolish men who do stupid things and to learn that what happened had nothing to do with them and everything to do with him. I will bring some glass half full satire to those victims of violence to brighten their mood in the one way that I know how.

MY WORK

My First Book.

Attacking one woman is foolish, two is lunacy, but when three women, complete strangers to one another before today, are brought together in a sting that will surely rock the world of any man who had dared to push his luck, he would learn first-hand just how wrong he could be.

Destruction Of A Nobody

The event that started it all

Sian wasn’t the first victim of Joseph’s brutal temper nor would she be the last, and while he continued with his depraved lifestyle believing he was untouchable, the women he’d trampled on were busy with their own brand of retribution. Joseph would come to realise that revenge was indeed a dish best served cold but he was way too busy to see it coming.

Turning 50 gives a woman pause for thought and I can only cruise on my genes for so long before father time starts nipping at my heels. It seemed like a good opportunity to reflect on, and an appropriate time to mark this milestone with a discussion about the events that occurred whenever bumping uglies or SEX might be a distinct possibility or not as the case may be. These special moments are never a guarantee you understand, and there is never a really clear distinction even suggesting that you and your intended are humming from the same hymn sheet, what with men being from Mars and women being from Venus.

” Oh so sweet fantasy revenge……

Can’t believe this is a first book by R C Quinn as the characters and story line twist and weave like a pro (no pun intended 🙂 )
I got a bit lost with a few of the characters but that was my inadequacy. It is difficult not to think that Sian is being a bit self indulgent as you are so conscious of the reality of it all, you get wrapped up in the brutal honesty. Just remind yourself that this is a lip smacking, oh so sweet fantasy revenge and enjoy every moment. “

“A searingly honest account of a woman coping with aggression
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 19 February 2014
This is a fresh voice, writing without restraint, about matters that are all too often swept under the carpet.
OK, in many ways, a woman’s book . . . but, of course, it isn’t. It should prompt us all to wake up to some of the hidden pressures that oppress so many.
A good read, and a mind-provoking one too”.

Historical True Saga Novel.

Although Fasilides was proclaimed Emperor in 1630, he did not reach the throne until his father abdicated some 2 years later. Fasilides believed that he had much work to do and so immediately set about restoring the status of the official Ethiopian Orthodox Church. Then in 1636 founded the city of Gondar and spared no time making it into the Capital of Ethiopia. All very impressive achievements for sure but my son, as I live and breathe will not be imprisoned in this place.  I must ensure that my good friend Gustav will help me, he is after all one of the more sensible businessmen in the region. The Dutch Sea Captain has agreed he will visit me tomorrow afternoon as promised, and I will surely make him an offer he cannot refuse.
